PT. Riau Forest Exports is an Indonesian export company registered and domiciled in Kota Pekanbaru, Riau Province — one of the most productive agarwood regions in Southeast Asia. We were established with a clear mission: to connect the world's buyers with genuine, verified, CITES-compliant Indonesian agarwood through a supply chain that is transparent from plantation to port.
We source Aquilaria agarwood chips directly from registered plantation suppliers in Riau and Jambi, conducting personal farm visits to verify documentation, assess wood quality, and build long-term relationships with the farmers and producers who grow this extraordinary material.
Agarwood — known as Gaharu in Indonesia and Oud in the Arab world — is among the most valuable natural commodities on earth. We take the responsibility of handling and exporting it seriously, and we hold ourselves to the highest standards of quality verification, regulatory compliance, and buyer transparency.

Every batch we handle is traceable. We visit farms personally, verify documentation before any purchase, and make that information available to our buyers. There are no shortcuts in our supply chain.
Agarwood is a CITES Appendix II protected species. We operate entirely within Indonesian and international law. Every export is accompanied by valid CITES permits, SATS-DN transport documentation, and SVLK timber legality certification.
We grade every batch ourselves using established visual and sensory methods, and lab testing results are available on request. We do not blend grades or misrepresent stock. What you see in our grade descriptions is what you receive.

Agarwood is one of the most regulated natural commodities in the world. As a CITES Appendix II listed species, Aquilaria wood cannot be legally exported without a complete chain of documentation from the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry.
